My Record

Complete, livable communities aren't built overnight. They are built through thoughtful planning, responsible investment, and people working together toward a common goal.
Over the past two terms on Council, I've been proud to work with residents, my Council colleagues, City staff, and community partners to help strengthen Coquitlam and prepare our city for the future. Here are just some of the accomplishments we've achieved together.
Building Complete Communities
Strong communities are built with more than homes. They include parks, recreation, transportation, infrastructure, and welcoming neighbourhoods that support people at every stage of life.
Together, we've:
- Supported a broader range of housing options, including family-friendly housing, purpose-built rental, below-market, non-market, and seniors' housing.
-
Invested in major community amenities including the new Mundy Park Pool, Maillardville Community Centre, Town Centre Park Community Centre, YWCA Bettie Allard Community Centre, and Interim Brunette Park.
-
Approved future community amenities including the Burke Mountain Community Centre, Burke Mountain Athletic Park, the Fraser Mills Community Centre and Pool, and new tennis courts at Town Centre Park.
-
Approved two new non-profit seniors' housing projects in partnership with S.U.C.C.E.S.S.
